FAQ about Sedition
Here, you will find a concise gathering of the most frequently asked questions new guild members have. If this post does not answer a question you might have, please feel free to whsp or send a website email to one of these folks: Legion Master: Hymn Webmistress: Tarjah Recruiting Officer: Hymn PvP Officer: Whysper Legion Banker: Xerpenta General Officer: Blythe *Attendance: While Sedition does understand Real Life, it doesn't understand being absent for any length of time without letting the officer corps know. We are limited to 90 legion members and to have any number of them offline without sure knowledge they will be returning hurts the whole legion. To that affect, we ask that if you are going be offline for more than a week, you let us know. Offline for more than two weeks without notice will have you removed from the legion. *Alts With the Legion being capped out at 90 members, there is no room for alts, period. *Changing Mains: Class balance and leveling time being so paramount, changing mains should not be done lightly. As you were recruited to fill a particular need within the Legion, you will be expected to keep with that character. Decisions to allow class/character changes will be done on a case-by-case basis. *Legion Activity Schedule: Most events start between 7pm and 7:30pm Eastern Standard Time thru out the week. Planned events are posted weekly in the MOTD (message of the day). *Legion Wide Policies: Drama: Will not be tolerated. Any dispute will be brought before Hymn and/or the other officers. A determination of fault will be made, and the transgressor will be penalized, up to and including removal from the Legion. All officer decisions are final. Language: While we all use foul language from time to time (some more than others), intentionally offending a Legion mate will not be tolerated. Hate-speak (racial, orientation, gender, religion, etc) will not be tolerated. Loot: In Legion groups or pugs, maintain a need before greed posture. If an item can be used by someone in your group, there should no need to roll on it. If you win/loot a drop that someone else can use, consider asking in Legion or checking the needs list before brokering it. The stronger your guild mates are, the stronger we are collectively. Respect: Take the high road whenever possible; inside or outside the Legion. Think of Legion names that people mention and your first reaction is "Those guys are assholes!" and try to avoid anything that gets that label slapped on us. Wearing the "know-it-all" hat, line-crossing trash-talking, camping lowbies, intentionally interrupting RP groups' activities, kill stealing, all these are asshat moves and are easily avoided. Thanks, -Sedition Officers
